Earlier this week, Ipswich Community Radio lost an absolute legend, Ozzie Sibley after a short Illness, at the Age of 79.

Ozzie joined ICR in 2003, in our Portman Road Days & was soon appointed Studio Manager by our then Station Manager, Nick Greenland. As well as this, he went on to present “This’n’That”, “The Vinyl Club (with Steve, Stuart &The Banzai Kid) & “Classic Tracks”. He was also a keen member of the live events team.

Join us for 2 episodes, by way of tribute, from the archives of “Classic Tracks”, Monday(30th September) at 12pm.
Although due to illness & increased mobility problems in the last couple of years, he didn’t make as much of a contribution as he would have liked, there will be a massive Ozzie shaped hole left around here. It just won’t be the same!
RIP Oz!
