Join Bury St Edmunds Quakers in a Silent Witness for Peace.
Saturday 29th June is national Armed Forces Day. As in previous years, Bury St Edmunds Quakers will be holding a Silent Witness for Peace on Angel Hill, from 2.30 until 3.00 pm.
Their banner reads ‘Help us support the men and women of our armed forces by working for peace‘. All placards will stress the need for pro-active peace-making and conflict resolution. They will have some leaflets to offer, explaining their concerns.
