Santa Specials

Santa Specials will run on six days. They will now be 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th and 21st December. Tickets are already selling fast. Tickets must be booked, via the web site at mslr.org.uk/book-tickets.

New Year’s Day 2025

We will be open as usual for the Steam & Light Festival with displays from the Historic Lighting Association. A chance for your first steam train ride and a fascinating look at how Victorians lit their times and places of work.

Trains at both events will be hauled by guest loco for the winter Andrew Barclay 0-6-0T no.2138 ‘Swordfish’ built in 1941.
