On Friday, 1st September, Charles Croydon came into ICR, to chat about the Great British Beach Clean (GBBC).

The GBBC is a week-long citizen science event, where hundreds of beach cleans take place up and down the UK. Citizen science is the collection and analysis of data, usually relating to the natural environment, by members of the public. Generally, this is an part of a collaborative project with professional scientists carrying out the final analysis, as happens with the GBBC.

This year, the GBBC will be taking place between Friday 15th September and Sunday 24th September 2023. For details of all the beach cleans, check out Join a Beach Clean.
